One of the best Ukrainian jazz musicians. He works as a composer and performs his music in the project «ShockolaD»
In 2004. graduated from Lviv State Music Academy, class of percussion instruments.
In the same year he founded the jazz group «ShockolaD». This project is constantly involved in various festivals ( «Jazz bez» (2004 - 2010), «Flyugery Lvova» (2005 - 2011), «Metro Jazz» (2005), «Jednist»(2007),«Starzy i Mlodzi, chili jazz v Krakowie»(2007), "Art-mashine "project« Vilnius - European Capital of Culture 2009 », « The contours of experience» (2007) - Ukraine-Lithuania performens, «Jazz Fest»(Sumy 2008), «XIX Festival of culture» (Sopot 2008), “Fortmisija” (2009-2011), “Amiens Jazz Festival” (Amiens, France 2010),
“Ewropejski Stadion Kultury” (Rzeszow, Poland 2011), “Alfa Jazz Fest” (Lviv, Ukraine 2011) among others.
Within six months (February - July 2008) was in Warsaw, in the grant program of the Minister of Culture of Poland «Gaude Polonia». He studied in Czeslaw Bartkowski and Andrzej Yagodzinski and worked with Polish musicians Michael Yaros and Tomasz D?browski in project «ShockolaD + PL».
In February 2009 a co-founder and coordinator of «Jazz Club Lviv»
Since 2009, he is coordinator of international jazz workshop «Warsztaty Muzyczne. Chodziez »in Ukraine.
In 2010 Igor was a participant of “International Cultural Exchange Visitors Program: American Root Music”, organized by Kennedy Center in United States. He was one, of 8 people from 59 countries who received such an opportunity.
In the same year Igor became the winner of V-Drums 2010-2011 competition in Ukraine and was able to represent Ukraine in the European competition.
In 2011 he organized first “Lviv Summer Jazz School”.
Participated in projects with Melvin Taylor, Michael Bowie, Frank Parker, Piotr Baron, Andrej Kondakov, Yuri Yaremchuk, Igor Zakus, Mark Tokar, Aleks Maksymiv, Tatiana Balakirska, Yaroslav Bothur, Adam Kawonczyk, Michal Jaros, Tomasz Dabrowski, Kuba Cichocki, Sheldon D’Silva, Mark Coffie ets.
